Speculative Theology is man-centered, built upon what we imagine or think about God from our experience, rather than what we know about God through His self-revelation. Asking What would Jesus do opens the door for us to come up with pretty much any answer that suits us. Speculating about what Jesus would, or might do, in our situation to re-imagine Christ to fit our purposes. I am convinced it is far better to ask What did Jesus do in order to find solid answer's for our life in the scriptural record of Jesus life.

Each of the talks in the What Did Jesus Do? series explores a vital part and practice of Christ's life that we can employ ourselves in ways that will help us grow, benefit others, glorify God, and advance His Kingdom.

Jim is available to bring the What Did Jesus Do? Series to your church now. The full seven-part series can be presented as part of a renewal or revival event over the course of a week in the evenings, or in a weekend conference- retreat setting.

If you prefer, you may request any of the individual WDJD presentations. This can be arranged as either an evening program, or as part of a Sunday worship service.

THE TRUTH PROJECT

Three years ago Focus on the Family began a new and powerfully transformative educational ministry with its launch of the Truth Project. In three years more than eight million people, from eleven different nations, have participated in the Truth Project, a thirteen part series that explores the question for what is truth from the perspective of a broad range of inquiry including theology, anthropology, history, science, sociology, vocation, and community. The basic premise of the entire Project in that we cannot encounter truth, all of which is grounded in God, without being transformed by the experience.

Jim Wilken is a trained Truth Project facilitator, and has led several adult and youth groups through the Project. We would love to bring the Truth Project to you church, and encourage you to contact us to schedule a Truth Project preview for your congregation's leaders.
